Company formation and renewal budget
Organise quotations into first-year and renewal costs. Each year is calculated separately. Items without a quotation can be left blank and will be listed in the results for follow-up.
Totals use the quoted amounts entered, without preset government fees or WeCorp packages. Each item follows the service period stated in the quotation; accounting periods and payment dates may differ from the company anniversary. Rent, payroll, licences and other operating costs are separate.
Four areas of annual company administration
Company records: review changes to officers, shareholders, addresses and significant controllers.
Annual return: prepare information around the incorporation anniversary and applicable requirements.
Business registration: check certificate validity and renewal notices.
Accounts and tax: help organise transaction and tax records, and arrange bookkeeping, financial statements, tax filing and any required audit work.
Annual return: Form NAR1
A local private company normally files within 42 days after its incorporation anniversary, excluding its year of incorporation. Re-domiciled and dormant companies require separate checks.
Form NAR1 records particulars at the return date, including the registered office, directors, shareholders and company secretary. It is distinct from a profits tax return and business registration renewal.
Prepare current company records for a director or company secretary to check and sign, and keep the filing evidence.
Items in an annual budget
Secretary, address, business registration and annual return charges.
Accounting, tax filing and audit fees based on the work required.
Changes, certification, forwarding or missing-record work.
Using the budget tool
Enter written quotes and separate one-off and recurring charges.
Do not double-count items already included in a package. Leave unquoted items blank; the tool will identify missing entries.
The calculation is a planning aid, not a WeCorp quotation.
