Annual-return deadline and fee
For an ordinary annual return of a local Hong Kong private company. Enter the return anniversary and expected delivery date to see the deadline and registration fee.
Calculation method and scope
Count 42 days after the anniversary. Sundays and public holidays count within the period; extend only when the last day is a Sunday or public holiday. A deadline falling on an ordinary Saturday is not extended. Published 2025–2027 holidays are included; exceptional temporary arrangements are not. Fees are HK$105, 870, 1,740, 2,610 or 3,480 by delivery date, with three/six/nine months measured as calendar months. Late registration fees are not all legal consequences and exclude secretary service fees.
Calculations run in this browser; the entered data is not submitted to the website.
Questions about the result
Is the anniversary the original incorporation date?
Use the anniversary in the year covered by this return. For incorporation on 15 June 2020, the 2026 anniversary is 15 June 2026. Confirm special situations with the secretary or Registry.
How are weekends and public holidays treated?
They count within the 42 days. Extend the final day only when it is a Sunday or public holiday; an ordinary Saturday is unchanged. Postal delivery means receipt of satisfactory documents by the Registry, not dispatch.
Does a HK$105 result mean the return is filed?
The result shows the government registration fee calculated from the dates entered. Filing is complete only after the company has prepared, signed and delivered a satisfactory return. The calculator does not submit NAR1 or check the company’s filing record.
