Accounting and tax filing services
Receipts, invoices and bank transactions need to be classified, reconciled and recorded to produce reliable financial information. The resulting accounts support tax calculations and any applicable audit work.
WeCorp arranges bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and tax filing for limited companies, sole proprietors and partnerships, as well as personal tax filing. The scope, required records and fees are set out before work begins.

Scope and quote: confirm the business structure, accounting period, available records and filing deadlines, then set out the work and fee.
Bookkeeping and statements: organise transactions, reconcile bank and account balances, and prepare financial statements and schedules.
Audit and tax computation: compile the schedules and documents for any required statutory audit. A Hong Kong practising accountant completes the audit and signs the report before the completed accounts and applicable tax adjustments are used to finalise the tax computation and return.
Review, signing and submission: the client confirms the information and completes the required signatures before submission. Filing records are retained and relevant tax correspondence is followed up.
Missing records and prior-year accounts
Available records are checked against a list of missing items, with follow-up organised by year and task.
Prior-year accounts, outstanding returns and tax correspondence are reviewed together to identify the relevant periods, deadlines and work required.
Tax filing services by business type

Hong Kong limited company tax filing services
WeCorp arranges tax filing services for Hong Kong limited companies, including bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, profits tax calculations and tax return preparation.

Tax filing services for sole proprietors and partnerships
Tax filing for sole proprietorships and partnerships starts with business income, expenses and profit records. Separating business and personal transactions, and recording each partner’s share of profits where applicable, helps establish the figures needed for the return.

Personal tax filing services in Hong Kong
Personal tax reporting covers employment, property and other applicable income. Allowances, deductions and assessment choices also affect the amount payable, so income records and supporting evidence need to relate to the correct year of assessment.
Frequently asked questions
Can work begin before all records are available?
Available accounts, statements and returns can be checked first to identify missing records and years.
What does the quote include?
The quotation identifies the selected bookkeeping, financial statement, tax calculation and filing services. Audit and additional tax follow-up are itemised separately.
How does bookkeeping connect with an audit?
WeCorp arranges preparation of the accounts, financial statements and supporting audit records. A qualified Hong Kong practising accountant carries out the statutory audit and signs the audit report.
Does a business with no revenue still need records?
No revenue does not mean no transactions. Bank fees, payments made on behalf of the business and other balances still need checking. Any return received must be dealt with as required.
